tattoo designs?

hey all im considering on getting a tattoo on my left shoulder (delt) and i cant seem to find the one i want. I'm looking for something not too crazy but just a nice simple design.

i found this one and i love it, too bad i cant get a better pic of it...

if anyone has any sites with something like that plz share!

heh im 23 and have 6 tats just make sure when you get a tat that its yours make it custom....i mean it would really suck in my opinion to be walking through the club or the mall and see someone with the EXACT same tat that your sporting on your shoulder....my 2 cents

For some people.

Frankly I wouldn't worry if its customs, someone else has it, or anything. If you want some custom, sure. But otherwise just worry about what YOU want.

I have a couple very common tattoos and a couple custom. The fact that someone else might/does have them doesn't matter to me one bit. Don't get caught up in someone elses tattoo politics. lol. By that I mean some people only believe in custom work, some people only like black and think color is crap, etc etc. Don't worry about any of that. Just get what YOU want.

Color IS crap :P Just kidding, some people LOVE color, i prefer blackwork, but that's just me..

Solid Snake: Take that pic into the shop you're going to and work with the artist to come up with a design similar to that.. If he can't do that for you, find another artist..

Solid Snake if that is the dragon that you want you may want to visit tattoodles.com they have that exact dragon and other's that are similar.

Talk to the artist about designing one just for you. I have asked the artist who did my last cover up to design a dragon cover up on my right arm. He showed it to mean a week ago and I made an apponitment for Nov. 15th, I can't wait!

This is the coverup he did on my left arm

Just get what you want, but make sure you want it for life..LOL

I just love the pic of the model you choosed Solid Snake. One thing funny about it is that my girlfrien have about the same model on her right hip.

Oh! just one more thing about Tatoos, Be carefull because, (i think others tatooed people will agree), they are like herps and beer, one is too much but twelves not enough. I started with one when i was still a kid and now at 36 i'm covered with them.

Well I think tattoos are all about personal expression, so it really all depends on your own tastes an interests. I have a couple, and I allow myself a new one whenever I feel the need to mark a change in myself on the outside.

Id love to get:

A sexy vixeny medusa with tons of snake hairs.

Tribal Sun with black rays, and the circle filled in with Van Gogh's "starry night."

Original Celtic knotwork with a nice earth/air/fire/water kinda thing going on.

You'll have it forever, so don't settle for flash if you dont totally love it, but if you find a piece of flash you love, go for it. If you find a piece of flash you kind of love except for certain parts, they can usually modify them to suit your tastes and wants if you are in a good tattoo parlor.
