Talking They're here!!!

Woke up at 5:30 and turned my light on only to find a foggy cage full of babies! I was having a hard time counting, but I *think* there are 23 babies and one still. They look like a mix between the two parents. A lot of them show similar abberant pattern like their father, so perhaps it is genetic? Either way, YAY BABIES!

Holy cow! Those are some bright tails! Mr. Poopypants sure does have a wild pattern, looks like some of those do too! Congrats! Take care.

Hahaha yeah, guess I'm too excited to pay attention to what I'm doing

Oops! I replied at the same time you were So.... edit: I introduced them later than people typically do, as my female still wasn't ready weight-wise (she's more than old enough at 8 years old). They were first introduced in January and were together until a while after she ovulated on May 19th. Yes, the parents were both sold to me as 'guyanese' bcc. LOL only reason I'm up at 5:30 is because that's when Mike leaves for work. I usually go back to bed for a bit after he leaves

Thank for all the comments! Well, the count seems to go up everytime I try to count It's looking like 25 live little babies. I can't wait to seperate them and get a final count and get a good look at each of them. There are a few really interesting tail patterns in there. Soon as they finish up with their yolk sacks I'll seperate them and snap some individual pics

Very nice babies, Linds! Are they Guyanans? Just a stab in the dark, they just don't look like Colombians to me. That male is just incredible, I would be interested in seeing some shots of the individual babies with unusual markings once they've shed and settled of course.

Late September birth sounds unusual, am I wrong about that? Of course waking up at 5:30 is hard for me to comprehend too so... I wake up at 7 these days and usually cry in self-pity until quarter to 8. lol!

Great Linds they are gorgeous!!!!

There's some really nice striped ones that glow in the litter pic! C'ant wait to see individulpics pics of those. It would be cool if you could count them it is most of these traits are Co-dom in boas.

Congrats!
