ONE OF THE LEOS I OWS HAS A SERIOUS SHEDING PROBLEM, THE SKIN WONT COME OFF.I MOVED IT INTO A VERY HUNID CONTAINER FOR A DAY NOW & IT DIDENT HELP.WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Do you have pics??? Can you post them of this shedding problem?

You could try to help pick off the skin with tweezers?

First of all only offer him a humid hide. Don't give him the option of anything but a humid hide for the next several days. Make certain the humid hide is in fact humid! I would also mist the leopard in question a couple of times daily.

THANKS FOR THE HELP. HE HAS ALL READY BEEN LIKE THIS FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS SO WILL HIS SKIN BE MESED UP OR WILL IT BE NORMAL AGIAN

I DONT HAVE A CAMARA THAT I CAN GET A PIC OF HIM TODAY.

It should be ok. Unless you are talking about skin around his toes. Thats another story. Sometimes if left on there it can cause circulation to be lost and eventual loss of toes. Keep him nice and hydrated and also offer plenty of food. A plump full leopard can more easily shed his or her skin. Like I said for the next few days don't give the leopard a choice between a dry hide and a humid one. Make sure all thats available is a humid hide and then mist the gecko directly. I have also in the past used a small amount of vegetable oil to remove small pieces of skin. This is A VERY DELICATE PROCEDURE so be extremely careful. Usually the above tips should aid in skin removal. Hope this helps.

I use a product called "Shed-Away" when my leos get a little dry... I've found it to be helpful for them, and they usually finished their own shed without assistance. =)
