Talking What did you guys get today!

Well I must say this show was one of the best ive been to yet. I was helping out at a table and we sold a bunch of stuff so that was good. I had a great time.

I picked up 2 cresties...the baby was free for helping out northern gecko this morning And the other was done through a trade.

This is the bigger one..looks to be male.

And heres the little baby.

And I FINIALLY got me a female for my male. I was so happy. She is extremely shy but she'll turn around I guess. Shes about a year old.

I also got some feeders, a submersable heater, and some other little things like usual

So what did you guys get?!

I just ended up getting two ESU thermostats that were desperately needed and a few packages of feeders.

I got 1.1 Macklots pythons (very snappy but I like them), a beautiful albino bullsnake and best of all a mud snake (eastern, I think).

Muds are very aquatic; in fact, in the housing duscusion of the Peterson's field guide a complety aquatic enclosure is suggested. Tennant (2003) claims that they are very aquatic but also spend a fair amount of time in burrows, and on land during rainy nights. I am going to try an aquatic setup with ample room and a hide out of the water. Ofcourse I'll have to watch for blisters and infections. I bought him from PCPC who say he has been eating mice, which is rare as most people can't get them to eat anything but their natural aquatic salamander prey. He is an adult now and if I can keep in him good shape I'll likely be looking for a girl next year. I'm very excited!

I'll have pics soon.

Country:
I didn't pick up anything today besides some feeder bunny's and a few pet rats.

Sold a few snakes today as well. This is the first show where I came home with more money then I left with.

However, earlier this week we got a bunch of new snakes.. another white lip, an adult female coastal, and a 5' albino burm to name some.

Yah, tonnes of leos and beardies... and a few balls. That's had to be the nicest jcp ever. PCPC had a calaber (sp) python which was kind of neat. MJ's mojaves look nice in photos but in person their absolutely amazing! Their were also some indigos which I though were pretty nice.

I picked up a male JCP offspring from the "looker male" everyone was talking about...(if its the one that was by the stage that was always out around that guys neck) and a gorgeous100% het albino male ball from Stav T...but yeah not much there other than beardies, leos, and cresties, and balls...was hoping for a bigger selection, but ahh well, maybe next time!

I didn't pick up anything. Just went to look around. But now I really want to try and convince my mom to let me get a snake. I saw some beautiful BRB's at Large Exotics table, and one (or two) or them would probably be my first snake(s)!

Thanks for another great show, and I can't wait until the next one!
