Switching from live to f/t

I would like some advice on how to switch my male kenyan sand boa from live (fuzzies) back to f/t. He DID accept a few f/t pinks and one f/t fuzzy when I first got him, but then he refused to eat for a solid two months until I offered him a live fuzzy. Now, if I dance a fuzzy in front of him, I can get him to strike and even coil on it. But, he always ends up letting go and not coming back to it.
Any thoughts on how to get him to follow through? I'm trying to get out of raising my own mice completely (even right now I have pinks and fuzzies available only irregularily), and if I can't switch him I'm going to have to re-home him - live mice just aren't available often enough up here from the store.

Thanks,
Dawn

I switched all mine by placing them inside a magarine container with the food item and leaving it in there over night.
Cheers,

Open up the nose with a pair of scissors or simply pinch the nose off the mouse with your fingernails. Doing this produces a much higher scent level, especially when done in a small enclosure as BoidKeeper suggested.
Try this nose pinching technique, as well as ensuring the rodent is warm, and this should increase your success.
