I have been looking for snakes a lot recently and haven't found any. I live in Southern California and have gone fielding at least ten times, each at least a couple hours each time, usually about five hours. We go to the desert often because we ride motorcycles but when were not riding were looking for snakes. We have a field guide and look in good places(seems like) and at the right times and find nothing! Please if anyone knows a good area that we can find and photograph them, I'd be willing to post pictures
