Holy Hornworm!

Hey all,

Well, I was at Klondike days with some friends Monday, and as we were walking, we spotted a large(3") hornworm on the ground pavement! It was young, because it was small, and its horn was still very green and looked soft. It did have 7 white lines on its sides aswell. I had no idea they existed in Edmonton? I think I have seen some hawk moths(smaller ones) around if they do. Im just curious if anybody else has seen any way up here?(haha, not that far up, but you know what I mean).

Thanks!

C.
