Beauties! I love the dark ones! Imagine a completely melanistic Jungle or IJ?? That would be my favorite snake! Like a boeleni but as a spilota!!!
Great pics, as always!

Are you guys breeding IJs yet? If you need more stock I have a friend here in Calgary that has 2 bloodlines producing this year. Mark

That big girl is gorgeous -- and the new one looks like quite the little looker too! Gotta love IJs... can't wait to get my next one

Thanks for all the replies!
Mark - We attempted to breed them this year but our male was disinterested... I think he's a little slow... We are up to 3.3 IJs and two pairs should be going next year so I think we are good, for now...

I'd definitely buy offspring from that dark mother... I like the two extremes of IJs. The dark, kinda crimson-y colors like that goegeous female, or the super light, almost caramel colored ones. But, all carpets are incredible creatures.

Invictus- We love both as well and can't wait to see the variation in IJs over the next few years. It would be great to see some little one's from our dark girl next year... We would be willing to buy a small army of males to get her to go.... LOL
Jeff- Don't get us started on the black snakes.... Side projects take up so much space... An all black carpet would be a goddess.
Damn boeleni...
