I was wondering what the humidity should be for a blood python, I've been given lots of different numbers, and want to know everybodys opinion in here...thanks
60% humidity for bloods is the most common recomendation with an ambient temp of 80-88F. A problem is bloods need good ventilation when humidity goes above 60%, lack of it sometimes leads to health problems from too much humidity, and too little humidity has other health concerns. Adults can handle a larger variation on humidity, but neonates and yearlings do much better with closely monitored humidity levels.
