wow! that reminds me of the manager at a local pet store of mine, he was bit in the face by an andicanda and he has a beard not to cover the scar.

that happened to me under the nose and top lip....i kept a goatee for years untill the scar faded enough... it really sucks,bled like a stuck pig...

Yep, I saw that in a newspaper a while back. For those unfamiliar with the story, the man was retrieving the snake (a coastal carpet) from an austalian family's roof.
