At last a rat!!!
Well, after nearly 3 months of trying to get my JCPs over to rats I had success with the male! He hammered down two mice and was really looking for more, I almost threw in another mouse or two, but decided that I would put in a subadult rat.
He looked it over for a while and I put a towel in front of his enclosure to be sure that he wouldn't be disturbed. He took it after A LOT of examination and hopefully next week it will be easier.
