dumeril boa feeding

hey there guys i got a dumeril boa 2 weeks ago. he is eating live rat pups. the pet store told me that just put him a a bag and put the live rat pup and live him over night. i tried this and no go. anybody have suggestion?? he is not skinny so he is not starving but not eating is worrying me. anybody got some suggestions?

i also just got one from a friend, they said he hasent eaten for 5 monthes but hes very healthy? his pic is on epicrates under
im stumped? ive put his temp up to 85 90 like they suggested but he hasent eaten yet. good luck with yours keep us posted

baby dumerils can be very tricky to get eating. just be patient. You should wait a week or so before trying again. They like it warm, hot spot 90+ cool end of the cage 79-83 have a hide box at both ends and dont bug it too much.
