Bearded dragon or Chameleon??
I have been thinking about purchasing another lizard. I have an empty 35g 36"l x 12"d x 18" h. My wife and I were in a new local rep shop (really cool by the way)....and anyway... i would really like a bearded, however she really likes the baby Chameleons. I have been doing a little reading, however I do not know if the tank I have will be suitable for either.... any info or suggestions.
They had a beautiful black and white tegu there for 300.00 o my god what an amazing rep.......(some day!!!)

a chameleon wouldnt be to happy in a tank. It would have to be in a screen cage, its a lot of work. i suggest beardied dragon, i think only one beardie would only fit in a 35 gallon, well not even, get something smaller lol?

That's too small for an adult beardie as well. You could keep a few leos in that tank though. They make wonderful pets and are very interactive

That cage is too small for both chams and beardie, I do like linds idea of the leos. They have such great personalities and grow on you in a big way, you could put 3-4 leos in a tank that size (with certain requirements). I also wouldn't give up my beardies cause they are the same way.

yea, i'd suggest a gecko (my personal favs are cresteds and african fat tails). From what I've heard, and I am by no means an expert, is that day geckos are not for novices. They have picky light conditions and cannot be handled. (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Yup, for sure you can't handle day geckos. They have thin skin that tears very easily. I have a pair of giant madagascar day geckos. They aren't that difficult to care for. I have heard that some other species are difficult though. Just be sure to do your research.
