shouldnt people learn how to take care of the gravid female, take care of the eggs, the temp to incubate them, and everything else before attempting to matethem???cause then what if you dont have the knowledge and you kill them??? just my opinion....dont take offense.

agreed.
although sometimes due to mistaken sexing, which is very easily done, people have housed male/female together without knowing, in turn resulting in eggies. Which is a diffrent story than deliberately trying to breed them.

I agree but there is also only so much you can read before attempting the hands on experince (so to speak). Durning the first attempt i'm sure people will have plenty of questions to ensure they are doing the right thing. They may also run across something that they haven't read about mating, egg laying, or anything dealing with it and just want reassurance. Yeah there are those people that jump into and don't do research and yep it's upsetting, but isn't that why we're here?

nop not in illinois srry. But i know a friend that did that, he breed them without doing reserach and thinking, so he got babys and they are deformed, and he sold it to the pet store and gave them away and i thought it was sick, but thats life......People need to realize that its not all profit, they have to see how much it would cost them jsut to take care of the babys, most breeders took years, to start making profit
