Help!!!
I am really worried about my baby Yellow Anaconda. Some scales on his head are turning white and his right eye is clouded. H has been eating great is real calm. I am wondering if the tank setup has anything to do with it becuase we put a temporary setup up with water and several basking rocks. We are deciding if to put a half piece of plexi glass or a huge shallow bowl to covery 3/4 of the tank. The bedding will be spahgum (spelled right) moss. Please help!!!

Maybe you are keeping it too wet and humid?
Could it be a blister type condition do you think?
Most people (and us) keep Anacondas on mostly land, with a water area. It is important to keep the humidity fairly high in my opinion, but if it is alwasy saturated with humidity - it could be getting blisters, maybe, just a guess really.
The reason I thought about it, was it sounds very humid, and I wouldn't think it would be having problems shedding.

No, no heat rocks but the blister idea might be it. Today I am going to change the setup from really wet to spaghum moss and a big water bowl.

I changed the setup and the cloudyness and the white scales are starting to dissapear. Tonight I noticed what I was hoping would not happen, he was stargazing and for you who don't know it means he has and infestation of mights. Please help me! I am trying my best to help this por guy but this is my first conda and boa to tell you the truth. He was doing great until a couple of weeks ago.

Yellow Anaconda husbandry.
` Your Yellow Anaconda needs completely dry substrate. Newspaper is best, but no colored pages, just black and white. Use many layers, with the top layers wrinkled, with some wadded newspaper under the top layer, so the Anaconda can hide beneath the top layers, if it wants to. It should have floor heat, with a gradient from 73, to 88 degrees. You should not use an open top, or screen top cage, as it releases too much humidity.
` The entire floor should be heated, with a soaking container located over the part which is in the high 80s. If your cage is sealed properly, with vents only near the floor, the warm water will evaporate, and be trapped, to provide all the humidity you need for the Anaconda. The soaking container needs only to be large enough for the Anaconda to fit into. They like a tight fit, for security. They don't need to swim, they just like to soak. Even the soaking is optional. As long as they have enough humidity, and dry substrate, they can do without the soaking container. But they do like it, and I provide one. It needs to be easily removable, so you can keep it very clean. Otherwise, you'll have more problems. When they want to dry out, they need a completely dry floor to rest on. Having too much moisture on the floor, to provide humidity, can cause skin, lung, mouth, and throat problems, as you have already discovered.
` The Anaconda doesn't care about decoration, or an environment that looks like the jungle.
