Question Corn acting odd.

This morning I handled him and he was acting as normal as always. Tonight I handled him again, and he was acting strange.
Wasn't moving much, he quickly flinched and moved from one side to the other (one side of my hand to the other) like he was startled, and then lifting his neck and pointing his nose down to my hand as if tasting for food. Was really acting strange, is this because he was handled twice today? How often does everyone handle their corns?

Priar to taking him out I was playing with some mice, briefly.
But I washed with some soap and water and dried off before handling. Is it possible that he could smell the mice in the air?
Maybe the smell of freshly killed rodent in the air?

All thought and info are appreciated.

Thanks
Shane

Or maybe he was hungry and was expecting food to come soon.

He could have been cool to, and the smell of prey. Sometimes I don't think soap and water will cut it when it comes to snakes and prey, lol!

You shouldn't handle babies to jeuveniles more than once a day if you can avoid it. Most adults are ok, they don't care at all. But babies are naturally nervous. The smell of mouse on your hand / in the air surely didn't help either.
