Sweet macro

Granted, took long enough to find the feature. Excuse - bought the camera for my wife 2 christmas' ago - haven't played with it much. But for herps the macro feature is just astoundingly sweet:









Not too shabby for a rank amateur.

Very cool shots. They are hard to view because they are so big though.

Thanks, all. Sorry about the resolution - posted from home where I have a bigger monitor. Actually most of them were cropped or downsampled - the camera saves in 1600x1200.

It's actually one of those little Canon Digital Elph S110's - dated a few years but decent. Colors always looked good but I never even thought to look for macro until I had seen some of the great shots folks had taken of their own herps. The camera did the work, inspiration goes to community.
