Have you tried over-stimulation with the snake for it to stop biting?
That is a sweet carpet man!

Nice carpet there. Give it time on the bites....just part of the joy of keeping those guys.
Cheers, Ryan

it bleeds when he bites most of the time, but it feels like a pin prick, nothing that hurts. it scares me more that it hurts me. he actually bit himself tonight.. it was pretty funny, he thought he was gonna get me but noooo lol. he didnt bite me after that, I think he was a little worried about his aim haha!
what do you mean over stimulation? just holding him a lot?
and thanks for all the comments, I love this little dude to death although he doesnt seem to like me yet..

I have a coastal about the same size, mabe a little smaller, when he tags me it feels like someone flicked me thats all dont even feel the teeth. He has never wrapped me up and constricted however, allways bites and releases more of a defensive strike. YOu can definatly see the damage he does, lots of little pin pricks in a semi circle, with little droplets of blood.

he wasnt constricting my thumb really. I think he was just using it as more of a branch, but it still took me forever to get him to let go without biting me again.
