Late late late, yet some are still paired up. I don't like it, but I do document it. So much for my nice, early, spread-out year.
Don't mind the glass. It doesn't get scrubbed until AFTER the breeding commences and the daily sprayings stop. I ain't gonna scrub out water spots and then put them back 2 hours later! Ha ha!
Notice the gravid female on the heat pad. Extra heat is necessary during gestation. They go right to it like clockwork, same time every day, around 10am. I don't ask, I just provide.
Close up of the two actually mating. If she was a good snake, she should eat, stop breeding, eat some more, ovulate......... IF she was a good snake.
