Talking shedding???

I own a red tailed boa and ive had him for about a month. He is about two months old. he just started his first sheding of his skin last night. There is one big piece that he has gotton off alredy. it is about 1/4 the length of his body. The rest f his body still has the skin on it and it doesn't look like its going to come of in one pice like the last piece. SHould i wait and let him take care of it? What should i do? the stuff ive read about shedding says that the skin is supost to come of in one big piece. Help me outn if you can.
thanks

hey, first congrats on the new red tail! they are beautiful! the bad shed shouldnt be left on, try increasing humidity (misting him) and leave him in a rubbermaid (with holes in it obviously) with a damp towel over night, that way he'll have the moisture he needs and something to rub up against in order to get his skin off.
after he sheds, make sure to check to see that all the skin is gone, especially on his eyes and the tip of his tail! good luck!

IS this ok

i sprayed the enviroment with water and im not going to do the rubbermaid thing yet because my mom doesn't have a spare one and if we dont have to use on then were not going too... thanks for the advice though right know i have a piece of wood going across the top, a water bowl with a little rock in it, a hidding spot that has rough bark on the outside ( i i think thats what he was rubbing against to get the first little off.) And then the bottom has teared up newspaper. Is this a good enviroment. o... and i also have a heating lamp.
this year im planning on getting a bigger cage. the one i have right now is only 20 gallons and he is about 2 feet long sooo... will be upgrading soon... and since you seem to know alot about snakes would you give m,e some advice on how often to feed it.. ive been feeding it 2 fuzzies every 5 days (just upgraded to fuzzies) hope im doing ok because i really care for my reptiles.

and just to let you know i have 2 water dragons in a BIG cage... 6 ft 8 in high 6 ft long 3 feet deep. Its awsome, i just built it... couldn't help but brag... lol
thanks
