No, a Colombian "Redtail" is not a B.C. Constrictor, it is a B.C. Imperator. I personally do not like to use the term red tail in reference to Colombian boas since they are a different subspecies. Way back when dealers decided to label them as redtails to increase the dollar value. That's when people started calling BCC "True Redtails". In my mind it doesnt seem right to label two different subspecies the with the same common name. It's gets confusing IMO.
