Yes they tend to be quite rough.
Out of the 4 males we have, here are how they are:
Jack is a leucistic male, unbredable, he would prob kill the females if we let him breed them. We tried him once and I never knew they could jump like that, he ripped her back open and tail.
Stumpy: Huge leopard gecko, won't breed anything too calm, the females dominate him so as soon as he tries to breed a female, she bites him and he goes away, but he will leave his trail all over the place.
Our 2 others are the main breeders, one is quite good with thte females and does not often leave them marks, but our 2nd male will leave marks, ripped skin, but not as bad as our leucistic.
I conclude from the male sI have that yes, your females will have marks and torn skin. Put polysporin on the dammaged parts, it heals quite fast, and check when they shed, sometimes parts will stay on the marks and ripped skin, important to remove it.
