More Breeding Photos
Here are my okeetees breeding.
The pair is from Kathy Love

Okay
This is a photo of what might happen after breeding.
When the female pulls away from the male too fast a little bleeding may occure. So you might see this:

A little bleeding is 'alright' but if you see a lot of this blood all over the breeding area, you might have an injured male snake...it would be wise to take the snake to a vet to check up if the hemipenes is injured or not.

Beautiful Okeetees, and thanks for that info. I didn't know that could happen. Looks painful!

That's what happens when you try the "quick pull out"!
Nice looking snakes Simon. I'd love to see more.

hmmm i heard that the reason for a male snake having 1 penisis is because sometimes a female will accidentally pull it off, n the male will have another one as backup.
Thanks,
Ben

NO.
They have two so that they can enter and mate from either side of the female.
