burns and red spots

at work i got burned at work and i think it was a second degree burn, it had a blistard. It wasn't very bad, just a small one. It was bugging me so i poped it, now that its healed sometimes when i itch it, it turns red. Its been doing that for years and i was wondering if anyone knows how to put a stop to it.
