a clip? Like ammunition?

I know the feeling. I go to a catholic school and I was asked to write down my opinions on the christian/catholic faith and I basically went against everything they believed in with logical points of fact. What was supposed to be private (between me and the teacher that assigned it to me) turned into a public fiasco and they called my parents, all the teachers knew, all the students knew and they wanted to get a priest in so I could go to confession. I had to agree not to give my individual opinions anymore in return for graduating from that school, no point leaving half way through gr12.

But now I know how Jesus felt when he went against what the masses believed.

Just stand up for yourself and use logic/common sense. Always remember to ask the question 'Why?'.

WHy do you think this a regional problem? This kinda stuff happens everywhere. I had an altercation with a teacher in my grade 7 class 15 odd years ago, which eventually led to her being let go. This stuff happens everywhere. Where there are schools, there will be teachers who shouldn't be teachers.

Hmmm what do your parents have to say about the whole deal. They cant just send you to a youth center for getting in an argument with your teacher. I s this the first time something like this has happened? Either we are not getting the full story here or its BS. Also exactly how old are you?

Do not perceive yourself as completely innocent here. You know full well that teachers are authority figures elevated by law, society, and tradition. In refusing to recognize your teacher’s authority, you brought this on. There are no authority figures that are beyond reproach, in fact some are wrong more then they are right, but you still respect their authority! This is the very fabric of society and I see why they have concern about you. If you are not emotionally developed enough to respect the authority of your teacher now, why should we expect you would respect the authority of our judicial system later?

Yeah, it sounds after hearing more about this, that the problem doesn't lie with the school, or Texas, or the teacher.

You mentioned that you've been kicked out of six schools. I'm guessing that all of those were also misunderstandings? The problem clearly lies with you, or are you just an innocent victim? Because every prison is filled with innocent people who were picked on by authority........

You found yourself in disagreement with authority and decided to buck that authority. Perhaps you may have been in the right, I don’t know, but regardless you did not subject yourself to the authority that is ordained above you and that is why you are in trouble now. Personal responsibility is the key. Anytime I am having a problem, I look at all the thing I did to bring it about and all the things I can do to resolve it. Note the use of the word I. You can’t control what that teacher, or the law, or your parents will do, but you do control you. First thing you need to do is go see that teacher. Apologize. Tell him you thought you were in the right, but maybe you were mistaken and in either case you should have respected his authority and you will in the future. That will be the start to resolving this.
