I'm wondering if anyone in Ontario is breeding Bredl Pythons. Kind of wondering about price and availability.

I know Don Patterson in Victoria B.C. is producing some awesome ones but as for Ontario I don't know of anyone.
I hope this helps some,

LOL... I don't. Now that his babies are out there a bit more, there will be more people breeding them in the next few years, but I don't know of anyone with unrelated bloodlines....

I'm pretty sure the only ones EVER hatched in Canada were from Don here in Victoria. The only ones in Ontario are probably Don's babies from this year! LOL!

Thanks guys. Just wondering. Amazing snakes...better start saving now I guess. By the time some become available I might be able to afford them.

They are $2,400 CDN a pair from Don. Single animals (especially females) are probably higher. Availibility (if any) is probably very low by now also. Mark I.

Wow $1200 a throw!!!
Here they are around $300 for a good quality hatchie.
I was under the impression that most Australian Pythons were cheaper OS than they are here but that is obviously not the case.
Gtp's for example go for $5000 each here and are hard to source.
cheers....

Yep!!! Australia is the place mate!
used to live there for a bit...when i first move to canada...i thought to myself i would get a pair of bredls..and i was stunned at the price...guess the laws there make them expensive here. Well only 3 more years till i'm back there again and i'm sure to get a pair..hahaha..
Also...if the strain is so limited outside of australia then isnt it going to be inbred? i mean if people are breeding them with only Dons strain...
