Heterodon Rule! I will (hopefully) be herping down south this coming season and hope to see some Heterodon nasicus. Lived in this state long enough I feel it is about time to look!
Perdy aint they? Definately my fav among the Hognose.

Hi Sue,
Is that the girl I sold you? She looks great, glad to see she's shedding and growing. How's the male doing?
I bet they're keeping you and your son entertained with their terrifying defense tactics!
Cheers,
RMB

RM Bolton- yes she is!! it took a while for them to start eating...now they dont miss a meal. the male is doing just as well, he may shed soon too, we named him Diego. my son calls them little cobras...he thinks its so funny when they hiss and strike with a closed a mouth, along with their bad aim..lol, such tough little guys!!

C. m. pyrrhus, is that hog yours?! Man it's a sweet one! I love the distinct pattern on it! Sweet snakes both of you!

As for your question...nope, the hog is not mine. It is linked to another site, just wanted to throw in some pics and info for the hog lovers. The pic is our native hognose in AZ.
I am hoping to get a pair this year though, but you know how that can be. There was a great shop in Duluth, MN. Fella had some of the sweetest hogs I've seen. Duluth put in a new law that crocodilians were no longer allowed, and this fella had some, so he chose to move rather than part with his crocs. I went back one day to find the store gone...and I really wanted some of his hogs......
