almost finally

Well after over a month with not eating I had partial sucess today. My female started eating, had it about half in her mouth when I went to throw the rat in with my male she must have been startled and spit it out. just went up and checked on my male and he polished his off. If she doesnt eat hers over night I'll try it again in another 5 days.

I stuck a pin up a mouse hoppers nose and crunshed/scrambled some brains. I squeezed out some ooze and used that to sent the rats.

Glad to hear she kind of ate! Keep at it!

However, I would strongly advise against feeding snakes together, in the same enclosure. Probably nothing will happen, but stress is a big factor and cannibolism is possible.

They share the same heating pad not the same enclosure. but thx for the warnning. here a pic of the male very full. What he's doing hiding out on the top of the cool side after a big meal I'll never figure out.

Ahhh I misunderstood... I thought you had said that the male had eaten what the female had vomitted. My bad!

Gorgeous snake!!

My little IJ likes to perch up high too. I have branches in his enclosure but he wedges himself up on the lip and spends all day up there.

BTW, Zoe, he's doing great and eating like a piggie
