CBB Jobiensis...

I am just trying to get an idea of how many of you Southern Ontario residents would be interested in
CBB Peach Throats ( V. Jobiensis ), prior to succesful breeding.

Those who are, post!

Thanks

Can those of us who have a theoretical interest but absolutely no space to make it a practical interest post?

Cheers,
Dave

Believe me when I say that the hard part won't be selling them. Your biggest obstacle will be production. For sure.

I do not know this person posting, and I am not pointing any fingers at this post-person, only on the topic at hand. This may or may not apply here, but here is a warning to you all:

I heard of people saying they have eggs, or pregnant female varanids, put a down payment (non refundable) on it and never hear from them again - people I know of do this today, so people please beware...."some" reptile people are not the most honest people I have ever met!!

Good Luck!

He was only asking a question on who would be interrested.

I know I would be interrested in one or 2. Depending on the space I will have available when and if they eventually have babies.

I know exactly what your talking about Mark. I'm looking for a &*%?&"%* since 6 month to recover my money... If you have some baby, B-rep, i'm sure they will find good home in less time than you think.

Well I was just curious to see what kind of response they would provoke when/if I produce Fertile Eggs...and then hatch them out.

The earliest this will happen is next season. And *hopefully* those of you who question Captive Bred, will be provided with pictures of fertilization and hatching.

And I would like to thank Mr. Steeve Blain, for his recent wisdom and proven advice in breeding Jobiensis.

There is nobody better to consult regarding V. jobiensis and their reproductive biology.....both are a true treasure to the Varanidae and Varanophile....

Good Luck,

B-Rep,

Can you share what Steve said with the rest of us ?

I am also interested in learning more about reproductive
biology with Jobies. As well as learning more about all monitiors for that matter.

I also totally agree with you Markb.

Regards
Brian
