This is why we shouldn't house more than 2 snakes together (Warning Photo)
Sigh...
well this is what happens when you house more than one snake together with another one....Cannibalism...who says corn snakes aren't cannibalistic?
This little accident happened today when I was looking at my snakes (another feeding day) and I found this one with a huge meal......both were non eating snakes.....well I guess now one is....
I would of separeated them all if they were eating.....but nope
hope this one will survive and not regurgitate the 'meal'......

So becareful for those of you who keep snakes together in one day......
My advice...one snake per enclsoure....

Sorry about that man. You'll save others from making the same mistake. Hard lessons learned.

That's pretty shocking to see. Good lesson though!

That's crazy. We were helping a friend at the Indy show and had to pull apart 2 very small spotted pythons that were trying to wrap each other up. Managed to get them apart before any damage was done.

Man, I've heard this story tons of times! Non feeding corns eating each other. You got lucky though, a lot of people find them dead.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I saved a corn from getting eaten by its cage mate the other day...I found them locked together in a ball and I managed to seperate the two before any real significant harm was done. (This was at work by the way, I wouldn't house two snakes together)

Take heed people...Said it a million times...House Snakes Separately.... You ought to see Ball Pythons that look like that
There's a good chance that will come back up Simon, they usually do.
The only chance is like Jeff says, make sure it has water,...cook it at 85 to 90 and don't even breathe near it for a week.
The slightest disturbance will guarantee a nasty regurge.

Sigh...
yeah too bad that I had to loose one that way...
I would never house 2 snakes together if I didn't have to...
I have over 600 snakes in my house right now and with 14 racks all full....each rack has at least 12-14 floors....for the hatchlings each floor has 3 tubs.....and I have 9 of those racks...
9 * (13 * 3) = 351 tubs....and I have over 600 hatchlings...so basically 4 hatchlings per box.....and this still happens....geeze....
that is why I would need customers to get them off me as soon as possible....sigh..
I HATE HOUSING SNAKES TOGETHER (OTHER THAN BREEDING OF COURSE)
I'll keep you all posted on how this little gal goes....
