My E. collard Lizard keeps trying to scale the walls and jumps at the lid of his inclosure. He's fine if I'm holding him but when in his cage he constantly tring to get out. Can anyone tell me why? and what I should do?
if you were locked in a cage, wouldn't you spend most of your time trying to get out?
It's normal, and the only thing you can really do about it is give him a larger enclosure. But even that won't make him stop for long.
i totally aggree woth ohh_kristina, my collared does the exact same thing, so i moverd him into a bigger enclosure. He still tries to climb the walls, but not as much now that he has more room to move around in. what size enclosure is he in now? also, is he a hatchling?
