Trust me hissers are such proliffic breeders that you will have to feed some off. Do a Yahoo search there are people that breed feeders and have roaches. I think the roach man is one. TB

Do not be so sad, if it can make you feel better, they are illegal in Canada too... every roaches not from here are...
Pretty much anything will florish in the wild in Florida... I guess they want to avoid desaster like having some wild population of hissers in Florida...
Hey, did you guys know there was now some Brachypelma vagans established in the wild in Florida!

What part of Canada? Tarcan is in Qubec and I am in British Columbia. If you are asking about here, then 73. Cool evenings now though. I know I love wearing shorts at Christmas too. TB

Pretty much all non idigenous herps ( believe) and inverts are illegal in florida, without a permit (which is NOT avaliable to hobbyists).
And in canada, all non-indigenous herbivourus or omnivourus inverts are illegal.

if you want to find a brachypelma vagans goto a dry sandy riverbed (if there is one) i saw this tv show about a tarantula collector from BC that went to florida and found tons of i think redrumps in dry sandy riverbeds in florida!
Thanks,
Ben
