Thanks Ray "Cobraman' Hunter

I want to thank Ray Hunter again for helping me with a 5'+ unusually attractive stressed out Eastern Diamondback that I acquired over the weekend.

The snake had not eaten for months and the only person that I knew of in the area to safely forcefeed the snake is Ray(I did not want to try it alone and wanted somebody who had alot of experience in pining large vipers because of the potential damage that can be done to the snake. )

Ray, who barely knew me, took time out of his work to help not only forcefeed but probe and provide vitamins for the snake.

Thanks Ray,

Sloane Russeck

Mr Hunter, It's been a while since I have been on this thing, but you sold me a nice big monacle cobra at the TX show last year. She is doing great. I should also thank you for all the time you spent with me (even though I did not follow you advise when you wanted to steer me away from a cobra as my first hot). I also called you a few months ago, and you walked me through a medical problem I was having with some pythons. Your concocksion worked great, and that snake is doing great now. Thanks for your help, I hope to see you out here again soon.
Billy

Hey Billy, I remember you from the show. It is good to know you and your critters are all alive and well. I would have been more comfortable with you getting a small gaboon as your first hot, but in this case I guess it worked out well. Just be carefull. You are most welcome for whatever help I was able to give, and if I can help you in the future, feel free to contact me or any of the regs on this site. Dr. Fry is a huge database of knowledge, and good advise, and is always willing to help us learners out.

Keep your fingers out of the business end of that cobra (for that matter, keep your fingers out of either ends of that cobra)
Blessings

this is somethin I love to see .. Helping eachother with animals. This is what makes the snake keeping "scene" strong unfortunatly some people would rather kick you into the ground when you ask for help cause they think you should have known that..

While we are praiseing Ray:-D, I figured I would give him a shout out to for the awesome Naja annulifera annulifera he hooked me up with at the last Hamburg (or was it the one before last?) They are getting huge man and the male I kept (Chad B needed a male bad so I hooked him up for furture babies. Ive still got a trio 1.2) is already close to 2 ft. They eat like crazy and are doing extreamly well. However, im starting to think they are just regular phased Naja annulifera annulifera as opposed to the banded form(according to WW I belive, N.a.annulifera can be un banded). No big deal man, they rock and the price was un beatable. I couldnt be more happy with em. Ill definately keep you updated and will gets some pics when posible.

BTW, havce you kept track with anyone who picked up siblings of mine? Id be curious to know how theres are turning out color wise. My male is rather interestingly patterened with a very dark head and the females are olive green with a reduced pattern. I belive it will come in better as they catch up to the male in size.

Well bro, good looking and keep up the good work. BTW, Im kicking my self in the rear for not makeing it to SC. A little birdy told me you had and sold a juvi yellow bannded krait and then the S.O.B sent me a picture of it!!!!! Oh well, I dont need anymore snakes for awhile anyway. 35 is enough:-D

Peace bro,
Jeremy

Hey there Jeremy. I still have a sub adult Banded Krait if you need one. It is about 18" or so. Also I just hatched out a bunch of baby Naja haje. Some have some real strange hood patterns (I know... Egyptian Cobras are not suposed to have hood patterns) I hope they keep the pattern. I will call around to those who bought some of the siblings from the bunch you got and see how they look. Good to hear from you.
Blessings,
Ray Hunter

Hey Ray,
Good deal man! I appreciate the looking. BTW, would you buy chance have a pic of the mother of those baby haje you recently hatched? Were these born to WC female or were they breed in captivty? Id be curious to see what they are going to look like, well, atleast some of them (I guess if they are WCs born to a female, it would be imposible to tell since the father is unknown).

Also, do you know their locality? Tanzinia? Those really are interesting lookinmg.

Well bro, let me know and are you panning on being at Hamburg later this month? I may be interested in picking up a pair of those babies and posibly the krait. Ill hit ya up via email when I get the chance.

All the best man,
J

Jeremy, they were from w.c. imports, father unknown. They are from Egypt. I doubt that I will do Hamburg this time, but we'll see.
Blessings
Ray

Xain, I think I am getting a little burned out in terms of doing shows. I will probably take a break for a while, and continue to wholesale to others that are more dependant on the shows than I am.
Blessings
Ray

That's to bad.. The person I was buying the King from had to cancel, so I was hoping you'd show up with a few youve been advertising or something, but bummer.. Maybe next time. Do you know anyone who is going that sells kings?
Is anyone here going to the Show in San A. in November?
Thanks,

Xain
