My reptiles are my children, I love then like they're my babies.

Each & every one of my snakes has it's own personality. I love 'em all in different ways. I agree, they are just like kids... Sometimes a pain in the A$$, but you just gotta love 'em.

All my snakes have the same personality. They eat , sleep, sh*t, and shed. Surprisingly, they all have the same expression on their face too.

All my animals are my babies... ....and I think all my reptiles have their own personalities....call it temperament or whatever ya like, they are very distinct in behaviour, including same species. I try to accomodate their 'personalities'...ex: ones that like to hide all the time get a more secluded area of the room...ones that are curious busy bodies get to roam around outside of their tanks.

Characteristics, personality, whatever... I have 3 corns that behave in 3 completely different ways, and often respond differently to the same stimuli. Call it whatever you wish.
I love my reptiles like they were my children. RedDragon and I always refer to them as our "kids".

I guess I should have put it as the way I see them. I enjoy spending time with my animals and the over all aspect of the hobby but I don't have any personal love for them.

Mine all have a distinct personality. It's impossible for me to think of them as just pets.

All of our animals/reptiles are reffered to as "the kids"........ I don't know what I would do if something happened to one of them!

When I go into my snake room and turn off the lights and light a candle and sit naked on the floor and start to whisper to the snakes.... they do look at me funny....lol
No really... I find that they do have somewhat of personality traits and I do love them, but I TRY not to anthromophorsize(give them human feeling and such), if I do they tend to bite me. They are Reptiles and are different from Mammals and that is also a good thing in the overall script and scheme of things....
