5-6 foot max?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but:
Hey guys, Ive kinda been looking for a snake that gets MAX five-six feet area. A lot of the red tails get too big, I couldnt take care of a snake that got too big. Any suggestion? Python or Boa doesnt matter, But Im pretty set on Boids. Thanks a lot!

I have two Balls, Pythons that is. I was thinking more the lines of an ATB or something, something a little more out there? Thanks for the suggestions so far though, Keep them coming!

Brazilian Rainbow Boas get 5-7 feet Totally a manageable size, and they're absolutely gorgeous too of course

ATBs stay pretty small too, but most of them are pretty nasty temperament wise...

Solomon Island Ground Boas are cool... Spotted Pythons... Dumeril's boas stay a bit smaller than the red tails... I'm sure I could come up with more, but that's all I can think of right now

Hope that helps a bit
Jen

A RATTLESNAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though there are a lot of cool colubrids! Don't count them out just look around on the net and see what kind of snake you are most interested in then narrow it down. TB

A hog island boa is a good choice although they are a bit pricey. Brazilian Rainbow boas get that big, but sometimes a foot bigger. Kenyan Sand Boas are a bit under 5 feet along with rosy boas.

Corns, Kings, Milks, most species of ratsnakes fit that description for colubrids that are readuly available.

If you want a Boid, go with an IJCP or a ball python, and if you can use a snake hook with ease and don't mind a nippy behavior go for the ATB, but I would suggest buying a CBB baby and trying to tame it.

I'd go with a hog isle boa or a spotted python.

Dumerils get bigger than standard Colombians... they just take a lot longer getting there.

Hog Islands are an excellent choice as are the Spotted pythons. Savu Island pythons are pretty nifty as well.

I'd say a Hogg Island or an Irian Jaya.
