This isn't about feeder insects but I couldn't really think of a better bunch of people to ask......
We have these all over ONE plant in our garden (The plant is called a Chinese Lantern) they aren't affecting the other plants and I have no clue how to get rid of them. The plant is about to die, a month ago it was about two feet by two feet and lush. Now its next to nothing and COVERED with these *things*
I didn't mean no chemicals or anything that has mass dude. There is no way I am going as far as giving them electrical shocks of any kind. I'd pour gasoline on the plant and torch it before going through the trouble of electrical shocking something! LOL
But thanks. I just kinda meant nothing like pesticides or heavy nasty chemicals.
Another alternative to nicotine is to use a very mild dishsoap solution. This is commonly used for smaller pests such as aphids and the like in greenhouses, so I would imagine it would be worth a try on whatever those little buggers are. Just mix it up in a bottle and spray down
