Wrong...

Saw these three dead rattle snakes by Troy Oregon, along with 1 live one.

Yes, and the rattles... You see, someone went out, found them, cut their heads and rattles off and then left the rest to rot. All for a little money. Sick. Fuc&ing sick...

Yes the heads and rattles were both cut off. I was talking to someone and they said they used to get 25 cents per segment (in the rattle). Almost everybody we talked to about rattle snakes either did/does or wants to kill them. I have never seen such a sh*ty attitude towards something.

No idea. Interesting that people will take the life of another for a few dollars, makes you wonder.

The heads and rattles are used in making little trinkets. Snake heads in the glass bubble thing, belt buckles and so forth. Rattles are used in folk art, jewelery, etc.

I am sure they would have gotten alot more for the snakes alive from the right person than dead from the trinket maker. They'll get bit sooner or later.

That's just so wrong! And very sad It really sucks that people would do that to another living creature...
