pics of my Mangrove Monitor
Here's a pic of my 9 year old Mangrove (Spencer ) He's the one who bit me a few weeks back ! Anyway, like I said then, he's quite a good boy most of the time.......... you just have to watch him when there's food around ! thanks for looking , Les

I just can't get this picture thing to work ...... ohh well, at least the link works............ He's about 4 feet in length...... solid muscle....... it's a real chore to clip those nails !

Nice Monitor.
what is stopping it from running away, As I understand it they can be quite fast.

I keep him in a 6' high X 5' wide X 3' deep home built enclosure with sliding glass shower doors in front. On the bottom is a large water dish and it has large branches for climbing and basking. It used to be my iguana's enclosure. He makes no attempt to escape , but I do keep an eye on him . He's happiest just lounging about in the sun or digging in my wife's flowers .......LOL
