Pics of my dumeril

I just got a pair of dumeril boa from a friend who didn't have time for them anymore. Here's some pics of the male. The female is even nicer, I'll post pics of her soon.

Males get 7-8 feet, females 9-10 feet. Sometimes even bigger. They are also very heavy bodied. A male Dum will easily outweigh a male bci.

Nice Dum!

Thanks alot everyone!

They usually grow up to 6-7ft. Some specimen may grow a bit bigger but it's unusual. The madagascar ground boa that look alot like the dum (but it's really rare) grow bigger. Some will also top at 5 ft.

There's not much info yet on the web but here's a really good page from a bredder if you want to have a look Zoe Dumeril page

Thanks alot!

I guess I'm really lucky! The picky feeder female that was feeding only on live is now cheewing on a small frosen/tawned rat fuzzy!!! Great, and only 1 day after she came home! Ok I know, not suposed to before a week but she hasn't feed for the whole winter so, if she feel like it.... I guess she feel good at her new home
