Changing behavior ? Am I alone ?

Hi all.

I'm from Montreal and we are now getting hotter weather here.

At home I don't have A/C and my home temperature went form a stable 22C degrees (72F) (during winter) to 26C (79F) in a couple of days.

My crestied were housed on my main floor and the only additionnal heat they had was from a 40w normal bulb during the day.

Since the temperatures went up, 2 of them keep to the bottom of their encloser.. It scared me a bit, so I moves them in the basement where it's cooler, but it's been a week now and these 2 are still staying on the bottom of the cage.. They use to allways stand on the glass or on thick leaves. I'm wondering if this is due to the temperature or something else.. The worst is to come, since in July, temperature really get high and I have no way to controle them inside my house.

If I take them out, they are as lively as before, they move alot, they jump... so they seem to be in good health..

It's my first year with cresties, so I can't rely on past experience.

Did anybody see this kind of changes in their Cresties ?

Thanks.

WYZ
