Hagen rodent food in Northern Alberta?

Hey all...

Just moved to Fort McMurrary, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can order the large bags (50 lbs) of Hagen rodent diet between here and Edmonton. Or Mazuri, or any other kind of rodent diet even.... just don't want to switch to dog food if I don't have to.

Thanks,
Dawn

Country:
Any pet store that carries Hagen products will be able to order it in for you. For Mazuri, or any commercial lab diet you coudl try asking your local co-op to order it in for you. There are only a few suppliers of Mazuri nationwide, one is located at (not sure how close this is to your location)

Canadian Lab Diets, Inc.
6534 Sparrow Drive
Leduc, ALB T9E 6T9
Phone: (780) 980-1371

I used to have Mazuri ordered in for me to my nearest co-op before I switched to dog food and it was $4 on top of the regular price ($20) which isn't bad at all. Anyhoo, hope this helped a lil

I also carry a rodent food that I use for the mice. It is the same shape as the Muzuri and I live near Red Deer. Contact me for more info.

Hi Dawn, great to see you back on the lists after a long absence - hope you were able to take all your snakes with you to Ft. McMurray.
We order Hagen NutriBlocks through the local pet stores here in Edmonton - P.J.'s usually - but the prices have been going up lately and it was $40 for the 40lb bag last time.

$25.30 for 55lbs. No fillers like the NutriBlock. 18% Protien, 5% fat,crude Fiber 4.5%
Ground wheat, ground corn, soya bean oil meal, peas & lentils, distillers corn are just a few of the ingredients.
The wheat middlings in the NutriBlock are just a by product from makeing flour and is totaly useless, just a filler.

Wish I had known you sell rodent feed before you were up here for the Edmonton show Walter. We have cut back a lot on our rodents, but we will definately get some from you at the Red Deer Show.

I just got into selling the feed I use for my mice along with CanDen Farms. We are still working on the packaging and looking at getting printed bags. So for now the packages are not the best on the shelf. But if you need some for the Red Deer show let me know, we usually have 3 tones kicking around.

I actually found out today that the petstore up here (which I am now employed at, yay me) actually brings in the large bags routinely already (and carries more reptile products than the Saskatoon petland!). But thanks anyway all.

Hi mary, it's good to be back... between school and getting ready to move I've barely had time to breathe lately. All my snakes and all my breeder mice came with me... the mice were a bit of a pain to transport, but I just had too many interesting mice that I still want to play with. Like longhaired rex and what looks like silver agouti that both popped up unexpectedly.

I'm a little out of the loop, what's the date of the Red Deer show? Walter, if I can make it to that show, I might get some feed from you as well.
