Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Diggy is BACK!

Hehehe!!! I'm so happy. I got to CHris's not even an hour ago and I started about trying to "think like a gecko". Using a flashlight, I swept the beam across layers of dust looking for gecko tracks. And nothing. I looked in corners for droppings and nothing. Tomorrow we had planned to take apart Chris's room to the bare walls until we found him. But first we were going to leave little hot spot setups all over the room with sand to see if he had been there. I made up one and put it under chris's desk. Chris thought under the bed would be the most likely spot Diggy would go so he started pulling out all the boxes that he had stored underneath. As Chris did this I said aloud, "You know...I don't really feel Diggy's presence in this room." Chris replied, "You know... I don't either." Then Chris pulled out the box that Dell sends with new computers that is flat and long with a hole on each end where handles pull out. Chris froze for a second. "I didn't look in THIS box," he said. I stared at it and said "That's a good box, if I were Diggy...."
As Chris opened the box he said "hi Diggy!" I thought he was joking. I walked closer, and there he was, looking QUITE pleased with himself!!. Diggy is back! I proceded to make a high pitched squeal all over the house.
We're both so glad he's alright and that we don't have to spend all weekend searching anymore. Thanks to everyone for their wonderful ideas, good thing we didn't need to use them!!!

Good job in finding him! I know the feeling of finding a lost leo. The first time my Female escaped, I woke up somehow and looked at the floor and there she was, crawling into my room from the living room! I thought I was dreaming it!

I am indeed relieved! Here is a picture of the crafty little guy. When we paired him up with my female, we put her in a critter keeper in his cage to get them used to looking at each other and somehow he managed to get on top of it. So you can see how easy it is for him to find a way out. Needless to say, we trimmed and lowered the plant he used to escape. Here is the pic:
