Balls are easy to care for. I purchased one of mine from lllreptile.com and one from a local pet store. Plan on getting an enclosure suitable for it's life (at least 4' X 2' x 18"). I think lll has them for around 40 bucks, I paid 59 for one and 39 for the other. Both are healthy and happy. I did have one I rescued die, but she was sick when I took her. Go by the care sheet when you make a purchase and the new pet will be fine.

Hi Randolph!

I'm glad to see you are doing some research before you buy.

Pick up the Ball Python Journal if you can. It has a wealth of information in it and it makes for good reading.

Also visit ball python websites and read up on their care sheets.

Try to purchase a ball python that is an established feeder.

Buy from a reputable breeder...there are many of them here in Ontario.

Good luck.
