hEY blink! Cresties are the best....in response to ur other post they are great to handle!

They eat crickets, mealworms and other soft invertibrates....they also eat baby food...mostly fruit but sometimes meat (eww)....mine likes banana and pear the best....it doesn't like peach...:P

They're pretty hardy! they like a high enclosure with lots of stuff to climb....mist the tank at least twice a day because they drink by licking water off of things in the enclosure....

If you need anything else just ask or pm me...

Heather

I think he wants to know of some better bands to listen to cuz blink sucks...

Anyway, don't forget to give them something to hide in/behind... if you can't afford a fancy schmancy one, margarine containers flipped over with a door cut out works wonders... As well, don't keep 2 males together as you'll soon wake up to find 1 alive one, and 1 "sleeping" one... you can keep 1 male and a couple females together, just keep in mind that the more cresties you have, the more space you'll need.

Good luck and have fun... read the care sheets on the website under Heather's message

Blink, you NEED to read some caresheets! If you already have and are just asking for extra information, I'm sorry to jump on you, but it really sounds like you have no idea what to expect from the crested you are getting. You NEED, absolutely NEED to read anything you can find on the net! This is a good place to come to answer specific questions, but is no substitute for good caresheets.

Here are some that I found today for you:
http://www.geckonetwork.com/caresheetcrested.htm
http://www.crestedgecko.com/crested_gecko_care.htm
http://www.herpcam.com/crestedgecko.htm
http://www.reptilecentre.com/new_sit...sted_gecko.htm
http://www.sundialreptile.com/caresheet-crested.htm
http://www.geckolizards.com/cgcare.html

Those are just a tiny percentage of what is available online, and I suggest you read them all thoroughly. They should provide you with enough information to keep your gecko happy and healthy!

In response to your specific question, cresties will eat crickets, mealworms, silkworms, waxworms and moths, as well as apricot or peach baby food.

Mine eats Banana, Peach, Blueberry ( think), and Raspberry baby food products, even though they eat the blueberry and raspberry, they dont really have much of them, but its always different with every Cresty. They also eat crickets, I dont really feed them meal worms much because I dont even think mine eat them.

Anyways Blink182, good job in getting Crested Gecko's, they are really amazing.

By the way, what is the color formation on yours?
