handfeeding veileds?

hey... so i got my female veiled...shes about 6 months old id say.
but i was just wondering if it is ok to hand feed it crickets? she will take them out of my hand. If this is o.k. and wont stress her out a bunch then it works out a lot better for me since there are no lost crickets.
also can someone tell me about how they get egg bound?
thanks!
pete

You can feed her that way if she'll eat it, but it's best and easiest to just leave them in a container in the tank, and she'll eat them when she wants to.
They get egg bound when they produce eggs but arent giving a proper laying area, and the eggs get stuck inside them. The eggs go bad, and can end up killing the cham!

Just make sure you have a good size container of dirt in the bottom of your cage for her to lay in!
