Sweet little thing!! I have a friend who lives in Phoenix, AZ and I keep teasing him to pick me up one of those the next time he goes herping. I know that I can get away with teasing him cuz if he ever found and kept one it would be for himself, and he'd most likely just take photos anyway.

We both of us prefer CBs for the casual herpers. WCs should be for breeders who are keeping their gene pool nice and wide, or to preserve a species that is suffering habitat loss.

Hognoses ROCK! I think they have to be the cutest baby snakes there are. Heres a feeding pic of a little male for everyone to enjoy. Mark I.

Aw, cute lil thing Mark. Hopefully we'll have babies too cos we witnessed copulation with my adult pair. The best part is, there was no cooling, and the made had just had a light meal. Did it out of curiosity, cos I'm with the impression that pheromonal cues are their primary trigger for copulation, not brumation. Here's to hoping for a gravid Hog!
