can a young snake shed then about 3 weeks later blue again, go clear and nothing happen? the snake was a rescue and the owner doesn't know it's age. it's a normal ball.
After going clear it can take a couple of days with kingsnakes before they actually shed. Unsure about BP. You can see on the snake behavior if it's trying to shed as it will be rubbing its nose into surfaces.
When my MKB had some challenges to get the skin going after rubbing it's nose into everything for 2 days, I just gave him a 30 minute bath in lukewarm water. Then put back in viv and voila he shedded just fine.
Sometimes when a snake is getting over an injury or illness they'll shed more often. River scraped up her scales pretty good and went into shed again immediately after. She shed on the 9th and I first saw signs of another shed cycle last week.
