Seven weeks and finally
Ozzy did his business and it was rottweiler size
Two medium rats and 3 large small rats all in one go.
He such a good boy, I was showing him off and he was super hungry and still as mellow as they come. I mean he was striking at the cage cause he was that hungry but as soon as I touch him with the hook he settles right down.
I really love this guy.

That's a carpet for you, lol.
When we got our first snake, an adult bredli, we were told they did huge ones, but didn't believe it. First time she did one, it looked like our blue heeler had got in there and done it!

I can't speak about rerics, but I know my BP only goes when he has enough saved up that when I see it I wonder how a great dane got into the cage....and yes....ong the smell is SOOOOOOO MUCH WORSE! My poor mom had thoroughly cleaned the whole house and got it smelling so nice.....over night my BP dumps and I clean it the next day before my mom got home. It permiated the whole house and my mom was so upset that her fresh smelling jome now smelled like month old rotten sewage. It took a whole day to air the place out again.... =(

I was a bit freaked cause he hadnt done anything in so long. I had visions of vet visits or prolapses etc.. But it all came out fine in the end.

Re: Seven weeks and finally
I had even tried soaking him, what a fiasco that was. You can not make a 6ft snake that is an amazing climber stay in a tub of water, at least not in the bath tub.
I figured if he was going to bite me that would have been the time but nope.

LOL. I guess I have been lucky. None of mine have ever left me any monstrous sized poops, not even my 8.5ft male BCI. And most of it is just hair anyway.
Hopefully you be lucky too Mink

Re: Seven weeks and finally
trick I found to getting any snake to poop is giving fresh bedding. they go back in and think "ooh fresh bedding let me just drop this right here in the middle."

That sounds like our place, lol. Even the beardies and water dragons seem to enjoy taking a dump in their fresh water bowls.

Re: Seven weeks and finally
I cant imagine what a giant snake dump looks like.Must need a shovel to clean the cage. I know blood pythons are notorious for saving it up and leaving huge piles.
