Hey everyone...I have two green anoles in a work in progress vivarium...the largest one I have had for about a year...the new anole is a baby I got last week...my larger girl was staying brown all the time until I put the new girl in...now she is green most of the time again...
Using coco fiber for substrate and have two pieces of driftwood in for climbing...plants are fake but have a bromeliad and moss being shipped...light is a Zoo Med LED/UVB 36"...and a Walgreens cool mist humidifier...always looking for driftwood to add to the tank and will need to suppliment the heating in the winter...
Like I said its a work in progress and I have a watermelon begonia and wandering jew to add to the tank once I figure out how I want to incorporate them in...
Tried to add pics but as a new member it keeps denying me...will add once approved
I love anoles! I have a pair, and a surprise baby one! That's interesting about them staying brown until another was added. Mine are usually brown and for a while I was worrying that they were unhappy, but I think maybe they are just blending in with the brown background. Anyway, I look forward to seeing your set up!
