Found this pretty little Great Basin rattler the other night. I was able to get petty close with my phone on a selfie stick.

Yeah he was a couple feet long. Not the biggest I've seen but not bad.

These are an incredibly variable species when it comes to color/contast, one of my favorites. Cool find!

I agree with Nate, I'd definitely like to herping up in Northern Az and Southern Nv and find a high yellow Great Basin. Really one of my favorite Crote species out there.

Found another little guy last night. This one was only about 15" long. He was even more calm than the last one.
